Preparation for the exam on 24 July 2025

FCE is one of the most widely taken English exams in the world. It is an upper-intermediate level qualification which proves you can use everyday written and spoken English for work or study purposes. A preparation course is essential to become familiar with exam formats and timing for this challenging qualification. We recommend that you attend two consecutive FCE preparation courses before entering for the exam. In this way you will have completed a full course of preparation. Students can of course register for the exam earlier (following just one course) if they feel ready for it.

Exam Fee: At the present time the examination fee is 263 Euro. Cambridge Assessment English does not grant any reduction on this price. Prices are subject to change!
Please note: The regulations do not normally allow a refund for candidates unable to take part in the examination. The exam is organised by Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung GmbH (Frankfurt-Höchst).
